ARTS & MENTORING PROGRAMS
NOTE: All of the programming listed below is for Youth ages 6-18 and programs and services run year round.
Youth E-Sports
Participants form teams and take part in organized gaming competitions online and with each other. Using the latest gaming consoles, members develop and improve on problem- solving, coaching, mentoring, team building and communication skills.
Music Production
Teaching students the fundamentals of beat- making, pre- production and audio engineering. We want to promote a strong understanding of the foundation of gear, equipment, music theory and song writing. These classes provide real world, hands on experience with professional software and technology for youth seeking a possible career in the music industry.
Culture of Arts
This course is for the creative mind to be able to express and grow knowledge on what artistic skill they might have and to be able to grow in confidence in the artistic they are born with. Artistic like singing, dancing, designing, photography, graphic design, painting and drawing. See anyone that needs help in growing confident or needs help to brand their business and needs help with exposure. This class will not only give you the opportunity to but also help you grow in the art you have chosen.
Culinary Class
Teaching participants culinary skills that they can implement in their daily lives. Participants will start learning the foundation of cooking such as cleanliness, kitchen etiquette, health and safety and knife skills. Then will be taught about different cooking methods such as baking and searing. Students will also learn the importance of presentation when it comes to cooking. We will also have several team building exercises throughout their time in the program.
Website Design
Students encouraged learning technical coding and designing skills. They are also able to develop their creativity by putting together sites that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. Students interested in web design will be shown several different apps and sites. They will develop: a good understanding of content management systems, search engine optimization principles and up-to-date experience with web protocols, standards, and technologies.
Modeling
These courses include personal image development, skin and hair care. Also included: runway exercise and nutrition advice as well as professional portfolio development. Modeling courses help you get ahead in your professional life. These courses teach you many skills and practices, which can be useful at one point or another of your career. Most of the courses offered in modeling schools teach the basics of voice projection, self-confidence, dressing for success, interview skills, self confidence development, poise, etiquette and public speaking.
Creative Reading/Writing
To help youth improve their writing skills through engaging activities such as songs, poetry and inspirational messages. Participants will be able to express their skills through open mic sessions, talent shows and music videos.
Dance and Performance
Participants will learn the basic, intermediate and advance fundamentals of various dance techniques.
Young Women’s Empowerment
Young ladies empowerment, self worth, confidence and beauty tips. There will also be team building, spa days and recreational and educational bonding field trips.
Prince to King
Will teach young men the foundation of being a gentleman by teaching principles of manhood such as the importance of presentation, appearance, etiquette, job interview skills, networking and responsibility.
Entrepreneurship Program
We emphasize the entrepreneurial mindset and focus on value creation through creative problem-solving. Each module pushes students to utilize their operational knowledge in finance, analytics, and their creative sides in marketing, branding, and promotion.
Financial Literacy
This program teaches youth the basics of money management: budgeting, saving, debt, investing, and giving. That knowledge lays a foundation for young people to build strong money habits early on and avoid many of the mistakes that lead to lifelong money struggles.
